Another Path Followed

Hello,

We just finished up a four day run of An Unmarked Path at Open Your Eyes to Dream Art Gallery. This was a wonderful time. I shared the story with a wide variety of friends, many of whom have never seen my work before. Thank you all for coming to my exploration of the art form as I continue to learn.

It was also good for me to practice performing a run of shows. I was able to experience how different audiences can cause performance spaces to feel very different. It was interesting to perform one night to an audience of four, and another to an audience of approximately thirty. While all the shows were a pleasure, and each audience was wonderful in its own way, noticing the differences was certainly a learning experience. Thank you for being a part of that.

Dragons in Mountain Top

Hello,
Just dropping a brief line about the recent excitement (Tues, Nov 14th) that occurred at the Library in Mountain Top, PA. I had the pleasure of sharing some stories about Knights, Magic, and Dragon with a wonderful group of young knights, princesses, and parents. Together we laughed at the princess Elizabeth’s defeat of the dragon, and watched as Sir George beat the dragon terrorizing Princess Una’s kingdom. There were even a few friends who seemed to dash around the world in a grand display of speed (you had to be there). It was a splendid time, and I certainly hope to one day soon return and share some more stories with all my friends.

I’ve been told that an article about the show will even appear on the Mountain Peaks newspaper which will soon be available on the web (www.mt-peaks.com). Feel free to stop by and visit if you’re interested.

In other news, An Unmarked Path is being performed at Open Your Eyes to Dream, so come and watch the story of a man who continues to continue, going beyond hardships and trials, to find joy and laughter. The exact dates and times are on this site’s schedule. Hope all is well and I look forward to seeing you soon on my travels.
Best,
Lethan

Another Reason to Vote

Today is election day, and I had to go on a long trek to find where I was to vote (Rush Township Municipal Building), but it was worth it. Not only did I get to present my opinion as to who will best help our nation, but I was introduced to some wonderful new friends who ran the polls.

These new friends introduced me to several stories from this region, reminding me what a wealth of stories exist everywhere. I hope to stay in touch with these new friends and to be able to share bits and pieces of our regional history (Northeastern PA) which I learn through them.

Remember, you never know where you’ll find your stories. Always keep your ears open and your mind playful.

Best,
Lethan
