New exciting events

Hello,

A host of exciting events have been occurring on my travels.  I can already tell that this New Year will be filled with excitement.  While I had the privilege of performing at the Bloomsburg Christian Church for New Years Eve, and had a wonderful time doing that, my first ‘official’ event of the year was at Chester Street Elementary School, and this was equally a success.  While I got a slight bit lost on my way there (directions from the internet can be confusing), once I got there we all had a splendid time.  I was also treated to an observation I had never before considered.  Rapunzel’s hair must be very hard to wash.  Something to think about.

Another exciting bit of news is the CD Traveling Tales will be releasing soon.  I have begun recording with my colleague and friend Matthew McMasters (matthewkmcmasters12@yahoo.com), and we are both working hard as we create a recording of several of my classic tales, including Rapunzel, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and more.  While we don’t have an official release date, we are looking to have it out by early March.  Keep checking the site for any pre-order details.

There’s some exciting news for now.  Keep checking in and because the new treats will just keep coming.  We’re planning on having some MP3 and video clips on available on the site soon, but more on that when I know more.  Until then, may all the best stories find you.

Best,
Lethan

A New Year with some New Stories

Happy New Year!  I hope you are all had a wonderful holiday season and you are all excited to find the stories of this year.  I know I’m excited for the events coming up.  The calendar on my site has not been updated recently, but hopefully that will all change soon (as I become somewhat more organized – a life long goal).  As of now, I have not scheduled any performances open to the public, but plan on remedying that soon – several projects are in the works.

I also recently had the opportunity to see a movie which I highly recommend.  The film is titled Kind Hearts and Coronets, is directed by Robert Hamer and is a classic from the year 1949.  The film stars Denis Price, Valerie Hobson, and Alec Guinness (who plays eight characters).  It is a hilarious look at a man twelfth in line for a dukedom, and he is determined to become duke by disposing of those ahead of him, but only in the most proper manner.  Beautiful dialogue and uproarious wit.  Just be sure you are awake when you watch the film, as missing any of it will leave you confused.

That’s all for now.  As more public shows are confirmed, I’ll be sure to give all of you word.  I’m also excited to be putting together several new sets of stories including Tales of Mystery for libraries this summer.  If anyone would like to book a performance of this, schedule now and you can receive a $30 discount on the performance.  I hope all is well and I look forward to seeing you soon on my travels.

Best,
Lethan
