Checking in from Pittsburgh
Hello friends,
I’m writing this post from Pittsburgh. I know it’s been a while since I’ve sent a post, so I thought I’d put out a message to tell you what has been happening during these travels: Primarily, I’ve been seeing lots of long time friends and making a host of new friends. I’ve explored new libraries around the state in Kutztown, Muhlenberg, Hamburg, Butler, and several more locations, and I’m thrilled to announce that each time I performed was a bundle of fun.
I’ve also be hearing responses to my new CD, Favorite Tales, and am excited to say that they have only been positive responses. If any of you haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet, please visit my site and check out the clips we have available.
The one slightly sad bit of news I must announce is that I will be leaving Pennsylvania soon to head down to Tennessee for a masters degree in Storytelling, but that does not mean I won’t be visiting. In fact, I’m already starting to figure out when I’ll be able to return for some tours. If there’s anyone interested in bringing me to their area at a particular time, please email me (lethan@travelingtales.net) and we’ll see what can be worked out. I know I will never be able to leave Pennsylvania fully, I’ve shared to many beautiful times and stories with all of you.
That’s the brief of it. I must go now to read Harry Potter (before someone tells me then ending) and get ready to visit new friends at the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum tomorrow. I’m particularly excited about having the opportunity to perform at a location dedicated to the great Mr. Rogers. I hope all the best stories are tumbling your way and I look forward to seeing all of you on my travels.
Best,
Lethan

Hey good luck in Tennessee. That’s cool that you’ll have a master’s degree in something so cool. Which college you going to? I saw a full-page ad on the back of this year’s NSN book for one in Connecticut. Speaking of, where were you this year? I was looking for you and sad you weren’t there.
Oh and Harry Potter dies on page 741. Just kidding– I haven’t read the book yet. But I will so don’t spoil it for me.
